Understanding your relationship with risk is an important component of creating a successful plan.  There are many words associated with risk; conservative and aggressive are probably the two most common.  We could add the common time-frames of short-term and long-term and you can start to see how this language breaks down.  Six months is one persons long-term and 10 years represents long-term to someone else.
